Vase, unique piece by Juliette Pénélope Pépin
Juliette Pénélope Pépin is a multidisciplinary artist, trained at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Goldsmiths University of London, and ENSAPC, and works in Montreuil. Passionate about history and craftsmanship, Juliette Pénélope returned to ceramics during a research scholarship at the ICA Kyoto, where she took evening classes at the AsahiYaki studio in Uji.
Since then, she has developed vases and other unique pieces, marked by the richness of her experiences, her passion for the history and traditions surrounding ceramics, as well as her endless curiosity for exploring techniques such as Raku firing, burnished terra sigillata, and working with wild clay.
