Large vase 2

Born in South Korea, Youkyung Sin lives and works in Germany. She shapes iron-rich stoneware with great finesse, hand-building and pinching the pieces before applying a white slip, creating plays of transparency and delicate traces.

For Volume Ceramics, she created a collection of objects – vases, candleholders, flasks – combining lightness and softness.
